I have always had this feeling that our universe has only had a partial exploration-inspite of what we consider a phenomenal advance in science, very little is still know about our universe. Now reports coming to light show that a complicated planet has suddenly popped up in the skies and the details of what this planet is like can be found here; http://scienceray.com/astronomy/a-planet-that-shouldn%e2%80%99t-exist-has-been-discovered/

I read through a discussion on this one a while back when it first came out about this one. The thought is that because of it's enormous mass, it has enough gravity to hang on to it's atmosphere. It is also thought that the star it is obiting may not have nearly the solar wind our onw star does. Since the 90;s there have been litteraly hunderds of other planets discovered orbiting other stars and with the advancements comming in telescopic technology, it will be possible with in a decade to actually look in visibale detail at these "exo-planets". It's an exiting time to have an interest in astronomy.
