Are you under stress?

Everyone feel stressful situations in their life from time to time...Others were able to manage it and been a part of their life in order to be more active and not passive in their life but others feel it as a torture because they don't have a life anymore but to work and always been under pressure...or to dwell on stressful situations... how about you? What kind of stress do you have? is it always bad? or do you feel that it's helping you somehow?

First, I think it's natural to feel some pressure for everyone because pressure acts as a motivation in our life. It motivates us to move forward all the time. Nevertheless, too much pressure is not a good thing. It keeps us under great mental and emotional stress, which brings great harm to our health. So the trick is how to make use of the pressure effectively. One good way is not to be overpowered by pressure. If you are under great pressure, try to find some way to handle it. You can choose either sports or some other recreation to get rid of it. This is what I do to handle stress in my life.

Yup you're right! we should use pressure effectively and not be overpowered by it..instead we're the one who has the power to overcome every pressure and stress. great comment!

I feel stressful almost all the time. I try my best not to let it get to me, but sometimes, with so much going, it's hard to stay strong. It's more like lately, that the stress and everything is getting to me. I usually do tend to dwell on stressful situations because it helps me cope with it better, rather than to ignore it. I try to deal with the situations too, but it's not always successful. I don't think any stress has ever helped me..maybe except for those that I've learned to deal with and made myself emotionally and mentally stronger, but other than that, it's been more bad than it has been good.

I think you should relax! unwind and have some fresh air to cope stress...it brings you no good as you said it was not always successful, but it doesn't mean it's forever...you mail fail today but think of tomorrow you can overcome stress. Learn from every challenges and I'm sure you will live a stress free life.

I have been always under stress and tension. Because of this I had to pay a very big price. Four years ago, I had a heart attack, and had to under go a by pass surgery. Even after this, in spite of the doctors advice, I am not able keep my stress under control. Usually my stress is due to my job.

oh...that's a testimony that too much stress is bad to our health, anyway..good thing you're alright now...just always relax, always take a deep breath, and do not dwell on stress. Take good care of your health

i have this feeling for my situation,the presure make me stressul,it come from my family and work and life,so i could not deal with it depending my ability,this often obessed with me.i could not forget it,even i work,this effect my mood,i found that the pressure is very large,i hope that somebody can help me.but i found that there is few people can help me.so i must learn to relax stress and face it.although my feeling is very bad,i still adhere to work and live,i could not talk to my friends my bad situation.learning how to deal with it,i think that this is very important for me.especially

I think that the stress you're facing right now has a purpose and whatever it is..there is someone who could really help you...Just look above and it's God. Pray for peace and He will give it you. You will learn from you're experience as you deal with it and be able to manage it.

Hi becdmd, According to me, Stress is something that you create it for yourself. When you feel that something is creating stress in your life, either you get out of it or get along with it. Sounds contradictory, right!!! This also is a stress. Stress has become a part of our life and it can bring no good to us.

Right..we have our own willpower and it's our choice to be in a great deal of stress or be able to control it.

Well most of the time, its my job which gives more stress. I use to manage stress, listening musiq, playing violen and i like chocolates, and i feel i get refreshed after having my chocolates and above all Meditation is best way to balance and handle stress.
