My pop up blocker has blocked 973 pop ups how do I maintain my pop up blocker?

How do I maintain my pop up blocker should reset the pop-up counter to 0? what do you do to keep your pop up blocker working properly, and how many pop ups has your blocker blocked???
Oh and just want to add that I haven't reset my pop up counter since I got my computer is that bad?

Use Mozilla firefox..? Check the sites you're visiting? Only site I visit that spams me with pop-ups is Shareapic.com and I rarely go on to that anymore. It's not really required that you reset your pop-up blocker. It is probably a good idea to be updated to the fullest with your computer and having your pop-up blocker upgrades the most is always a good idea.
