Given the chance, which time in history would you want to witness for yourself?

What if we were given the chance to have time travel in the past, which part of our history whether foreign or local would we want to experience first hand. Lets take for an instance, the extinction of the dinosaurs. or the bombing of hiroshima. In addition, would we change such historical event if we are there already? You may also post famous or non-famous event. So long as it is part of your history.
In my case, I want to be a part of world war II.

I would choose to be a witness and part of the battle between Spain and America in the Philippines before. Both countries indirectly keeps on denying who was the worst invader at that time, and maybe be being part of that portion of history will clear things up on me. If I was there before, I would gladly join rebels for a better change.
