| Which resort do you prefer in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic?  | | | |  Hello,Last January, I went on vacation to Punta Cana in the Dominican Repulic. There were lots of resorts to chose from and I decided to go to the Gran Bahia Principe Punta Cana. WOW, what a wonderful resort. Beautiful rooms, lots of restaurants à la carte and buffet (huge buffet). The beach was awsome, we could take long walks. We had access to 2 swimming pools. In my opinion, this resort is one of the best in Punta Cana.

Have never been to Punta Cana but I have had friends from there and they told me they never wanted to really leave there to come and work here.
So they save all year round to be able to go back to their Homes and spend about four weeks there.
I have seen Punta Cana on the Television it´s on quite often in various Documentaries as a lot of People who work here are from the Dominican Republic.

| |  I haven't yet visited the Dominican Republic but have seen photos of it. I have seen it featured in a few travel programs on television. I have heard that there are some lovely palm fringed beaches in the area of Punta Cana. It was lovely that your resort had two swimming pools. I know that the Dominican Republic is one of the cheapest destinations in the Caribbean.
