Our supervisor didn't show up at work today, feel much more freedom

It is not like that we are lazy, or doesn't want to do work. We just don't like the rule of being scrutinized, or being spied while at work. We want to be able to be free to do our job, while we can enjoy the moment of a little bit of joking with each other, stir up the boring environment. While our supervisor was there, we won't allow to do so much freedom stuff. We still finish our work assignment for the day, and we enjoy the day without our supervisor's present.
Do you like to be supervised at on every single movement, and not be able to talk to each other?

Will i don't being supervised but sometimes it is quite good to be supervised as it will made me more proactive to my work and i will hesitate to not do my work so i provide good results and output for my work.

I don't have this kind of problem as proactive. But I will finish my work on time, and I will try to do the best I can to provide some quality result. But under my supervisor watching, no one is talking, and provided me some morbid environment which might put me into sleep.

I am a stay at home mom now but I used to work in the accounts department. We had a monthly deadline, where we had to close all the acounts for the company's monthly statements. I remembered our boss will hovered around our desks just to make sure we have all the accounts in and finalised. Not to mention printing all the statements, graphs and monthly presentations to the board. Things get more hectic during the year-end closing. It was double, no triple the tension and anxiety. I sure am happy those days are over. However, I sometimes miss those moments.
