Any plans for winter escape or summer escape ?

Hi my friend Green Line. Last January I went on a winter escape. It was cold and miserable in England. It was warm and sunny in South Africa. My toddler son and I explored Cape Town plus the Garden Route. I wish to visit Canada so it has to be a summer trip. I shall be having a summer escape with my toddler son and baby daughter. We will visit Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. One time it was summer in my home country and I flew down to the winter in Australia. I explored Western Australia. The weather was mostly cool, sometimes warm and a few times very cold. Another time during the autumn in my home country I escaped to New Zealand for the summer. I came back home to the British spring. That was one of my best trips. I remember a different time in winter escaping to Central America. The people in Belize thought they had a cold front. Well it was 20 degrees C and they might like to try London in the UK one January. Happy traveling. Maxine.

hi friend, Am from south india part here climate will be different compare to north india normal conditions,normal temperature in winter season.In summer am planning to travel to north india some of places.I will not escape either winter or summer season. have a great day.

Hi there Green Line. Well this winter me and my girlfriend went to her parents house (in a town close to the mountains) and we had snow this Christmas. For the summer we want a hot beach this summer, as last year (2009) we went in England at her sister's place, and even if we had a terrific time, we now miss the sea and the warmth of the summer. We are thinking of Greece, Italy or Turkey for our vacation for now...

I would love to travel somewhere nice and warm and sunny for a week in the winter. I have never done that before during the winter. The winter here is so cold and wet with snow and ice a lot of times. I'm not looking forward to it. So no plans for us to travel this winter unfortunately.

YES! Actually, I do have a short trip planned for February to Las Vegas. I can't wait. what's sad, is that, Winter has only just begun and I already am wishing for warmer weather. I really don't want to hassle with all the snow and ice and mess that comes along with these Winter months. I don't know if my short trip in February will be enough. I may have to try and get away again at the end of April.

No we do not have any plans on a winter or summer escape. I like the winter season even though once in a while it does get a bit to cold for me. I do not like real hot summers and sometimes we do get very hot days I just turn my air conditioner on and stay home.

Hey greenline! I might have some getaway plans! My Mom is going to turn 80 years old in February so we have talked about my going to Florida again to see her maybe in March or April! But, by then it will pretty much be getting closer to Spring to I will have already gone through the nightmare of NY Winter! But, it still will be cold here so I can get a jump on the Summer! I guess we will see what happens! I actually don't like to travel from NY to FL during the winter because of the bad weather here! I don't lie the de-icing of the planes and all the delays due to the bad winter weather in NY! So, I just might wait for the better weather just to be safer!

hi greenline, regarding summer or winter escape,nothing to worry,we feel only summer,but not in winter,we does not have that much chill in our place,so we need not move any where for winter,but in summer,we have severe heat that will cross 45 Celsius,from 12 noon to 12 midnight the hot will spread,some rich people will go for cool places to spend summer,but we are not that much rich to spend the summer in cool places,have a nice day
