Are you a senior and you get tempted to exploit your disabilities like pretending not to hear, not being able to see or not being able to walk. Have you experienced others doing it?

I have lot of responsibilities to shoulder. I cannot afford to exploit my disabilities. In Tamil language there is a saying, even if she cries, only she has to deliver her child. But, as you said, I have seen people taking advantage of their disabilities.

I am a senior but I have never been tempted to exaggerate my growing disabilities. In fact I get mad because with advancing age we loose certain capabilities. I wish I could still do all the things that I did when I was 40, 50 or 60. I also do not know anybody who pretends that they are more feeble than they really are.
