Someone copied/stole my discussion!!!

All I can suggest is you contact admin at the other site and tell them about it...don't know if it will do you any good, but...

I saw your discussion, what I have to say about that, it's just some one who is just too lazy to think for them selves, and this really get my blood boiling, when I see someone stealing from someone else, who have worked hard at posting a discussion, and then here come some lazy, no good person, stealing your work, calling it their own you thief.

It's really annoying, but it's also funny. I don't understand why the person want to copy or steal your discussion.

I have not found the meaning or the value to steal a discussion. anyway i think if you have time you should tell the relative sites about it.

I would not bother it because i have limited time but I definitely support you.

some people are really need to get lessons for the cheating.

Oh! That's bad. Isn't there any way to take some action against that person? Maybe mylot staffs can help you. I don;t know what I'm talking about but maybe they will. It's not easy to start a discussion. And it's embarrassing to find someone has copied it! Grrr!

This sort of thing happens quite often but people just don't notice it.
The best thing to do is to contact the admin of the site where your content was posted.
Include a link to your original post here.
If they are any good they will remove the copied content from their site.
Mylot remove copied stuff from here if you report it to them.

if that happened here in mylot, i think it is not that difficult to run after that person. we can always report this to the admin if we find irregularities and abuses like this. we can do something. but with your situation, i guess you can also do that with the site's admin by contacting them. only, we never know what will be their reaction to that. well, try it.

If you are just over reacting how does that solve the problem of plagarism? I wouldn't say that you are over reacting at all. I hope you let the site and the person know what was going on. It needs to be resolved. And the site needs to know this is going on. Competition doesn't even come into it! Competition is when two people are competing not two people using the same thing!

So a person named deny copied your post? This person should be reported. I think you are not overreacting at all. I suggest you contact the admin of that site and inform the mylot admin too.

You are not overreacting my dear!! They are all right, you may want to report this thing to the admin of that other site and they shall take necessary actions. If I may share, it happened to me too. I co-own a fragrance business and I run several advertisements in the papers and in the internet about our fragrance dealership. I was browsing one day, I guess I used google, typed "fragrance business" and was happy to see my advertisements there. Then I came across one advertisement that exactly looked like ours--texts, format, color and size of the fonts, even the pictures!! They just edited the contact number, the company name, and the brand name on the picture. It got me fuming mad. I reported it to the admin right away. I checked my email for response and they replied saying they took necessary actions already. When I checked the copier's site, the ads was deleted already. And when I searched for her username, it says it does not exist. Oh well, at least the admin deleted it already.

would copy such a things from others and would entered into other
siteso you have the rights to inform to the administration
of that particular site and would request to block that person those who
are posted your articles there. As you have knew that this was one of
the very cheating action and would not be tolerated any any
more , so take the action at your earliest.
