a great way to get rid of writer's block

You can get rid of writer's block by writing a journal entry on a blog with any subject that comes to mind. Who are you mad at? Where do you like to visit, don't judge yourself and just let the words flow. Another thing is to use several random subjects and piece them into some sort of story even if it is irrevalant or stupid because look at videos on youtube, comedy comes in forms of random thought and situations. Play madlibs at writing.com. Get poetry magnets and play with them on your fridge, play a grammar game on a esl site anything to get words into your mind!

Thanks for writing this post. I get writer's blocks sometimes. I want to write something, then all of a sudden, the idea just slips my mind. I will try to do these things that you have suggested.
