Question about the Armed Forces

My daughter who is n ROTC wants to be a marine an serve her country yes I am proud of her asked one day while we were driving why dont they have woman on the billboards what she meant was every billboard we passsed about the armed servies had men an she sai come to think of it all the pamphlets they pass out are all men dont they want woman now my daughter being like me wants to prove a woman can excel in the armed force just like a guy but is she right should they put womann thier ads

I've seen women portrayed in many of the armed forces TV adds. I've also seen one woman a billboard add. There were about 7 soldiers in formation saluting & 1 was a woman. It's probably more a matter of who their target audience is. Lots more men join than women.
