Has anyone else heard about Tiger Woods indefinite leave from the PGA tour?

I heard that Tiger is leaving golf for an unspecified amount of time in order to save his marriage. Tiger has admitted to having multiple affairs and says he wants to dedicate his time to being a better husband, parent, and person. If this is true, then I respect his decision. I don't advocate what he did, but we all make mistakes and I think this decision is the right step in setting things straight. I feel Tiger is a decent guy, but there are so many temptations when one becomes a star and I can't say that I wouldn't fall prey to them either. I truly hope he is able to save his marriage and set a good example for his children. Do you think this is a good decision on Tiger's part? Do you think that an extended leave will affect his golf game? Do you think that this decision is the beginning of of his reign?

I think it's a good decision on Tiger's part. The extended leave will affect his game and the tour. Apparently, viewership dropped 50% when he was injured the previous year. The question is what is Tiger's legacy now?

I think he will be remembered as one of the greatest golfers of all time. It doesn't matter what has happened in his personal life. Do you remember Michael Jordan and Pete Rose. They had those gambling problems, yet they are still remembered.
