A friend of mine recently out of job, and she almost exhausted her savings. She has a credit card with large credit line. She never late for one single payment evers since she had this credit card from Bank of America. During financial problem she has encountered lately, she tried to call the bank customer service, if she can skip a month payment or not. She only owed about $500 on the credit card. The operator then transfer her call to the financial consulting department, and there was guy ask all these rude questions, such as "if you don't have a job, how could you pay your rent etc....." Later, they just close her credit card account for no reason at all, because she called if she can skip a month payment due to her financial problem. Although she begged them not to do so, and she will try to come up something for the payment, they still closed it. So, those banks aren't here to help customers, don't you think? When they need your business, they can say whatever on the advertisement. When the customers try to be honest, they will crush them. So, my friend said it right, when she will get back on her feet, she will not patronage their customers again.
