Dear Meetvivek
That's a good question to ask if I may say so.In fact most people go overboard when weighing themselves. They measure their weight by the hours and on the hours. This is bad. My take on this question is to weight daily and at the same time preferably early in the morning, after your bowel is cleared. This is my take so far for now. Should you need for info, please contact me via this site. OK? Thanks! Love: Bro. Joe

when i was still chubby... i check my weight daily...every time i wake up or after defecation just to make sure if i gained some wt or lose some...it will become my basis for my day's food intake...if i gained a pound.., i used to punish myself and starve for that day and on d next day if lose a pound i'll reward myself by eating..and it goes on and on..it was really unhealthy and not an effective way of losing wt...=(

I am not over weight or under weight. So,I don't care much about knowing my weight quite often. If I fall ill for a long period, then after it I would check up my weight and see how far I have lost.It is to regain the same as early as possible. But we can't forget there are people who have to monitor their weight at regular intervals.

Once or twice a year, I can tell by my clothing if there are any changes otherwise I don't bother.

Hello... I don't check my weight often. But when my friends and I go to malls or pharmacies where there are weighing scales, we check our weight then. We do not regularly do it though.

Hi. Every time I check my weight, I feel disappointed and frustrated...so why should I hurt myself often? LOL!
Seriously, I don't regularly check my weight...which of course is bad as I am not watchful of my weight gain. I'll do it now, after posting this response.

I have this habit of cheking my weight once a month. However, I do it more or less out of the habit, not because i really care about my weight, because it hardly changes. For the whole 2009 I have checked it 12 times and it is always +/- 2kg of my usual weight
