I'm trying to figure out what the usual range of prices of engagement rings are. If it's private I understand. I just want to know what the typical joe would give. I have no experience in the matter, so I am a little clueless. Is it important in the first place? I'm not a big jewelry fan so some sobering opinions could help. If you can tell us your location too. I would think prices would differ in various countries.
