Do you think having a girlfriend or boyfriend will affect your studies?

partly yes and party no...it depends, some people can handle their relation and study well, their studies is not affected even they have misunderstanding with their partners and some are not..

I think it's important to be apart of your child's life. And allowing them to have a boyfriend or a girlfriend won't harm them as long as you know, as a parent, that that person won't affect their studies and their other priorities. I think a lot of parents are too strict with not allowing their kids to date and that just results in the kids sneaking behind their backs, which results in a dishonest relationship.

I think it does to some degree. I'm in college now and most of the time, it is up to the student to allocate time to study and do the work. If a student is in a relationship, then they would have less time for their studies. I don't think that someone should not date just because he/she is a student but I think it would definitely affect their studies.

I think it depend on oneself. if one can show a very positive attitude to this relationship ,it must be is of great benefit to both of them!

Well it all depends. I think we have to focue on our study before we are enrolled by a colleague,which means i don't support having a boyfrend or girlfriend when we in high school. Colleague students are different and they have much more free time.And it maybe good for colleague student to have relationship because it is much pure. When i was in colleague, I did have a boyfriend and it had no influce on my study. I got the scholarship every term and did well in my school list. The most important thing is how to control ourself,which makes our parents worried and be strict with us. Happy mylotting!
