When you are sleeping, do you like to...

Sometimes when I am sleeping it's very comfortable to sleep on my stomach and spread out and then have my foot dangling off the bed.
Some people may think this is strange, so I am curious how many people like to have their feet dangling off the bed? I cannot be the only one!!

Not me I can't stand it! I like to stretch out but no dangling feet, not even touching the edge. I roll so much I start off on my tummy, then end up on my back with a cat curled up inbetween my knees (don't ask, she'll sleep in the crook of my knees if I sleep on my side) by the time I wake up.

My cats do that too. It is because it's a nice warm spot.

I too love having the bed all to myself for that reason. Our mattress isn't all that new and kind of dips down in the middle. Makes my back ache sometimes. I love to sleep on my stomach but keeping my feet flat makes my ankles hurt so at night I have to switch to my sides also. But all by myself I can sleep diagonally across the bad and dangle my feet off and be completely comfortable.

We have a brand new mattress which is incredibly comfortable, but no matter where I am sleeping, whether it's at a hotel or my own bed, with a new or old mattress, I often find my foot or both feet hanging off the edge of the bed.
I also like to sleep diagonally most of the time. This is probably because I hardly ever get much room to myself, so once my boyfriend leaves for work and I get the bed to myself for an hour or two before I have to get up for work, I scoot my dog to the side and stretch out as much as I can!!

lol, I do this too. Sometimes. I think it is more comfortable when I lay on my to stomach have my feet off of the bed. I also do this other times to, mostly when I'm restless.

You're not Bethany! I do it too, its called my "temperature stick", if its cold then I'll keep it under the covers, if its hot then I'll leave it out so I can tell how warm it is, sounds silly but it true. I don't like my feet dangling though, just one foot. I sleep on my stomach anyway so I'm already weird.

Yes, sometimes I will also stick out an arm and leg so I don't get too hot and it regulates my temperatuer quite nicely.

Hello my friend Bethany1202 Ji,
Well, I do not fall at par with your way. We both sleep on straight up-right lookingat sky or on any sides left or right as I find comfortable and same thingis applicable to my hubby.
Wishing you a very happy New Year-2010.
May God bless You and have a great time.

I like to sleep on my stomach I find that very comfortable sleeping. I also like to sleep on my side thats how I sleep most of the time. I think I'm like you where half of my foot is dangling from the bed I do feel that comfortable since I sleep on the side of the bed and thats how I sleep So your not the only one who does that lol.

My husband likes to let his toes "breath", so he hangs his over the bed. Or he used to until our cats taught him not to.

Hello beth,i mostly sleep turned on the left side for most part of the night and then sleep on my back for about two and a half hours. I can`t sleep on my stomach now but used to do it in my teens but not with the foot dangling down.I know that quite a few people do sleep on their stomach but its only for a little while and then keep turning and tossing.Do you sleep the entire night on your tummy or only for a short while?
