Recent British studies have revealed that champagne is packed with polyphenols - plant chemicals thought to widen the blood vessels, easing the strain on your heart and brain. So there you have it, the "all the more" reason(s) to pop the cork and have a ball this Christmas. One reason for sure, this choice is much more fun than the usual Pinot Noir, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and other usual reds. On the hindsight, though it is the season to pop and me merry - let's not forget to be discreet and most of all moderate. So, here's to health and compliments of the season to everyone here.

Hey Sky, Why wait till Christmas or New Years to pop that cork and get healthy! My twin's nick name is Champagne Elaine. She loves that stuff. It will make me crazy but fun if I don't watch how much I consume. Now that I know it's good for you, I might indulge a little. Thanks for the bubbly info!! Leenie
