Well, assignments actually help the students in their schooling. But what happens if there are too many? What can you say about those teachers who are giving the students too much assignments? Od they still help?

I think most teachers are there to help their students learn and do it in their own way, assigning as much assignments as they think is needed. I've had teachers that gave a lot of assignments but I don't think they were doing it just to spite the students. Though it was hard for me as the one doing the numerous assignments to understand, I think the even the hardest teachers are there to help.

There are always two sides of the coin, the teacher wants the students to focus and give more time on their studies and be equiped with a lot of knowledge. On the other hand, stuborn lazy students need to be punished sometimes through right and educational approaches such as giving always an assignment. Both outcome will be for the benefit of the learners, they can not value yet this time, but soon they will realize its importance in their professional lives.

Hi, roger_nautilus. The only thing that I can say is that this teacher must want the students in her class to succeed. And thus teacher wants them to be able to learn all that they can. This teacher wants them to practice great studying skills. Sometimes, too much homework can not be good at all. It can be harmful when a student is confused already in class.
