Would anyone tell me what is "profile views today"?

Would anyone tell me what is "profile view(s) today" which is located at the left bottom of the profile page? I do not understand if someone who do not log in for several days, how can he/she got " 1 profile view today" at the left bottom of the profile page? Hi agonyaunt! You see 'profile view' means how many times a particular profile has been viewed and 'profile view(s) today' means that how many times it has been viewed today. It is not necessary that the person concerned has to log in and has to check his/her own profile himself/herself. The profile of a user could be visited by another user too. Anyone, who is on mylot can go and check your profile to know the details about you. If it says that 1 profile view today, it means only one person visited the particualar profile durating that day. If you happen to visit your own profile, that 'view' will also be counted. Hope it clears the matter. dpk PS - Thanks for the add. Please check your PM. What it means is 'how many times your profile has been viewed by others'. It is just the count of how many persons have viewed a particualar member's profile in a day. If your profile says '3 profile views today' it means that your profile has been viewed 3 times today by others. It is as simple as that.

Well I believe it is as just as just straightforward as it says it means how many times your profile was viewed,,,,,and if someone was logged out, that doesn't mean that their profile, and usernames, were not accessible, and so that is why the profile page view number can grow no matter what
