The Good Wife episode this week, 12-15-09

I like The Good Wife most of the time and this was a pretty good episode, too except that one of the Law and Order shows had already used that almost exact same plot except from a cop point of view.

I don't watch the Golden Globes, but I saw that Julianna Marguiles was nominated for Best Lead Actress in a Drama for The Good Wife when the nominations were announced earlier this week.

Darn, I wish I'd have come across this discussion sooner because I'm now trying to remember just what this episode was about! I know I've liked every episode of this show so far, I just can't seem to recall the plot of this one. Please refresh my memory if you see this! I DO know there often seems to be similar story-lines on various shows. I guess there are only so many premises to use so, at least some of the time, "any similarities are strictly coincidence". Thanks so much for reminding me! That episode seemed like it had been taken directly from something that happened in my own area. There were several judges involved and it's not over yet. They've been removed from the bench and some have been charged. Annie

The roomie used to be really into Stargate SG-I and Farscape, and it seemed that the 2 shows for a while were reusing the same plots - EXCEPT - Farscape took it 3 steps further than Stargate.
