"Cash from organized crime ‘rescued’ banks during crisis": UN official

Toke up, druggies, & snort & grab the needles--so you can help rescue banks!
Yes, apparently, that's been happening some places, at least. The drug distributors & other organized criminals get around $352 billion in cash a year, & that money has been fed into the world's banking system for the last couple of years--to keep them from going completely under! So says the head of the U.N. Office on Drugs & Crime, Antonio Maria Costa. Since crime is a central part of that organization anyway, this seems almost incestuous, to me.
Surely you're not surprised! They need solvent banks as much as honest folk, too!
The world just gets smaller & smaller, doesn't it. Soon, there won't be any room left for decent folk.
What do you think of this revelation? Do you inhale/drop/shoot up or otherwise indulge? If you do...my hero.
Not.
