As many of my friends here know, I make apricot jam to give as a Christmas gift to my family and close friends. This year Spring was late and I was worried I wouldn´t have apricots by Christmas. But my apricots are ripening with a few very hot days and my mother´s apricot has ripe fruit. I have cleaned my recycled glass jars and bought sugar so everything is waiting for the fruit. Do you make jams from scratch or do you just buy yours? Merry Christmas!

Hmmmm.... seems tasteful. I would love some. I remembered that I am in long hunt of an apricot nectar. I have this recipe and I really wanted to learn how to cook it but apricot nectar is a main ingredient and I searched all corners of our supermarkets here but couldn't find one. Apricots are not so popular here in my country I guess. I was really upset since it could have been my first ever cooking try out. Haha. Now I lost interest on it. But good to hear your apricots are ripening. For sure you're gonna make some tasteful apricot jams out of it. All I could do is wonder how it would taste. Hmmmm... Yummy for my taste buds I guess. shadow41

Ripe apricots is the nearest you can get to a kiss from the sun. Take care!

Hi my friend. That sounds delicious. It is an excellent idea of yours to make apricot jam for your close friends and family members. I think homemade apricot jam sounds better than jam sold in the shops. I don't know how to make jam. I tend to buy small pots of jam. I like apricot, strawberry or raspberry jam. I wish you a very merry Christmas. Hug.

I would like to have a apricot tree like you in my backyard, it looks beautiful. I can imagine fresh apricot and it is homemade, so your jam is going to be excellent!I would like a jar of that for Christmas :). Personally I don't get much time to make things from scratch. As I am student most of my time goes in study and school. I would love to make my own jam sometime though. Enjoy Christmas with your homemade jam!! Happy Holidays!
