my pet dog died a month ago  

Yes I have. A few years ago my mom had to put down my Shar-Pei because a tumor on her neck. I couldn't even bare to go with her to do it. So when she came home I watched her walk to the dumpster and throw her leash and collar away. It still hits me to this day. My mom vowed never to have a dog again.

Then a little over a year after me and my sister went to the ASPCA to look around with no intentions. And we fell in love with this terrier mix named Timber. So I signed all the paperwork for her, a couple days later my mom went to pick her up. As soon as my mom saw her she fell in love.

Even with Timber now. My mom, sister and I still miss our Abbie and think about her every day. It's true that no pet can be replaced. So your new dog may fill a void, but you'll always think of your other dog.

i felt the same when my dog died of........it was ver long back when i was doing my school........it is really hard to miss the loved one........

Hi karthimm, I feel sorry about it.
I don't have that experience before. I am having my first pet dog now, and she is two years old. Whenever she felt sick, I was worrying about her. She is just like part of my family. So I can imagine if she dies, I will definitely feel lost.
But as we know dogs have shorter life span than us, so we really have to accept it.

I could imagine how you felt.I remember when I was a teen,I had a dog that got hit by a car and he died.I couldn't stop crying.I have a dog now that I'm very attached to and would be very upset if something happened to him.I would get another too.I love having a dog for a pet.

Yes I lost so many dogs since I was young... all died due to old age. I understand how u feel, it's not easy but the most comforting thought is that we have spend quality time together and now they are happy in pet heaven!
