I lstened to a news just now that Dell has launched what is calling the world's thinnest laptop-- Adamo, which means to fall in love with. Gee ! it is amazing light and thin. 1.8kg and 1.64cm thick. guess how much will it cost? 2000$.
so are you willing to pay 2000$ for an ultra-thin laptop? or how much are you willing to pay for this?
As for me, I would if it were released 7 years ago. At that time, people including me would pay 8000 - 10000.00 RMB or so to buy a desk computer or a laptop. If it comes to the thinnest laptop, people would provide higher.
But now, I think cumstomers are getting wiser than they used to be. They are getting smarter on their money, using the same amount to buy more and better quality products. so I think 2000$ is only targeted at the few rich people.

I think thin laptop or even the thinnest laptop is a good looking laptop. But if talking about its performance, i don't really thinking if a thin laptop can has great performance. I think such laptop is only launched for style and design performance, not for working performance. Thin laptop however could easy be damaged if we are not carefully use it. About the price, i think every thin laptop have high price because such products using latest technology with the smallest design come from semiconductor companies which clearly expensive. As i know so far, a thin laptop price stats from $1500 up. Perhaps there's some cheaper thin laptop but those cheaper thin laptop but not really thin as Adamo or MacBook Air. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

Maybe there's something strange about me but I don't get the thinnest loptop thing going on. If it ways less than 5lbs it's highly portable. And thinner ones do look "sleek" but I like the "bulky" ones just fine. lol
