The word "honour" means different things to different ones of us. As for me, honour means respect. Respecting the privacy of others is one. Treating them like ladies and gentlemen is another. What would honour mean to you today?

For me, honour means telling the whole truth, while trying to be respectful at the same time. Which is hard, as these two often conflict with eachother. It also means not being too rude to someone, and in the event I do get into an argument it means ending the dispute when it is appropriate. And I can't seem to think of anything less specific. . .

Yes, it surely mean being truthful, too. More than often, we will find this hard to do, but then practice makes perfect. It's good of you to contribute your view on honour so that others can learn from them as well.

Honour is honour. For me it is something very important in my life, just because I think, honour is that thing, which makes you remarkable. Honour is for those one, who has gave something very important for him, just to save something or to make some one happy. The honour is for these men, who gave their life for the country, as the many Bulgarians, fallen during the World war I and II, and during the Russian-turkish war in the 19 century. Honour is that thing, which make the man a real man.
