How much are you willing to pay for a GPS? |
| |
| GPS is gaining its popularity in the market, and many people do really want one. Because we don't know every single direction on the road. If you had tendency to lost in the road, a GPS is a the best guide you would have. I just wondering, there were many different prices on all those popular models, such as TomTom, Garmin, etc..... They have price range from $80 - $200. For me, I don't really need an expensive GPS, my TomTom only cost me around $100, and I think that I could get a better deal with it. All I need from a GPS is that it can guide me to a specific direction, and get me to the destination place I specified. Or somehow it can point me a shortcut. So, $100 deal is the best I would want to offer. What about you? Would you rather have a GPS have all those funky functions such as road report, weather forecast etc.....? | | | | | |

| | They would have to be free and even then I am not to sure I would accept it. Maybe if I had a sales job and relied to get to my customers by car I might take one if my company gave it to me. I have no problems reading maps and that is good enough for me. | | | | | | |

| | I haven't bought one for myself since I don't drive that frequently to different places but I got my dad one that was originally $250 for $100. I think $100 is the reasonable price to pay for one especially since with most you have to pay extra for the features like traffic updates etc. Plus I don't think they should be asking for a ton because mapquest is still out there and a ton of people are willing to use that then pay. I think it all depends on how frequently you think you'll be using the device on whether or not you really need one. It still is nice they got invented though. | | | | | | |

| | we've got a navman, hasn't led us up the garden path yet, which is a good thing. we paid $200, for ours. but they have come down a lot in price over the last few years. long as it does what i want, i don't care for to many extra functions. | | | | | | |

| | I wouldn't drop a couple hundred on a machine that tells you where to go, all I need is a map, which usually only costs around ten dollars! I think the only way that I'll ever end up getting a GPS is through a gift, because I wouldn't be able to buy one on a good conscience. | | | | | | |
