Bible Bashers Say: Santa-Satan? Really!

I have an Aunt who is a Jehovahs Witness and she loves me to bits and I love her to bits. We never mention each others beliefs for anything we just natter about us instead of all the other stuff. Before I moved I also used to get on great with another Woman who is a Jehovah Witness I really don´t know why this is.
I just accept at face value them being as they are.

That's me too. My mom is not Jehovah's Witness... but she has a friend who is.. and they talk a lot.. mom has many of the same kind of beliefs.. but she will do birthday parties.. she just won't do Christmas.

Hi Oreocookie. Absolutely, that's the way it should be - live and let live. There seem to be some people who are determined to see evil in everything though, as you mention. They must have miserable lives! Lol!

Hmmm. I know some people have a problem with things like Santa, and the tooth fairy, etc, but I remember those things pretty fondly, and it was a good experience for me during my childhood, so I don't see the harm, personally. On the other hand, I suppose I can remember the utter dread of getting up in the morning and finding a sack of ashes where my presents should be - which is what I was threatened with if I wasn't good. I think I would probably leave that part out if (when, hopefully) I have kids.

The few adverts I half watch and not were showing a Campaign to give toys to Children in other parts of the World. This was on last year but I really think that it is not the Spanish Government itself who does this it´s the local Government of Catalunya where Barcelona is. It´s a really great idea but no one knows where to give to or send to as they never say. They just keep saying give but you don´t know where and how.
Anyway I hope they I hope they get their Toys wherever they are.
They send these Toys all over the World to any Country.
Our Christmas here lasts until the Sixth of January hence the real belief is in the Three Wise Men known here as the Three Kings. So this is why this campaign has only just started.

Again just to say that I would not lock you up. If I were in Britain I would bring back the Celebrations that lasted until the Sixth of January like before.
Maybe if I go back they will try to lock me up? I think all that kind of restrictions is ludicrous.

So were the Magi were connected to the length of time Christmas is celbrated there (to the 6th January), was that the time it took them to journey?
I hear parties going well into the New Year here lol, and I doubt they'd lock you up either

OMG, Alice! Never mind lock me up, they'd have to put me in a wooden box if it lasted until Jan 6th! I don't even have kids to shop for, and I'm still glad it's almost over! Lol! Bah, humbug! This time last week, I was full of Christmas cheer, but now I'm thinking "Are we nearly there yet?"

Hi, Jb. From what I've read, hoof claws was just an old fashioned description of hooves. I liked the site, but to be honest, having read some of the real sites, it took me a while to convince myself that the writer was being satirical! It's only slightly less hysterical than the actual santa hating sites. I so want to get that book now though. oops, there I go, coveting again.

I've just looked at that site again, and it's the nutty handover baptists site! They DO believe that stuff, Jb! Have a look on their forum. Some crazy people there.
