Here in my country it is already a routine on Christmas eve to have a party in every
household or companies of friends. The party would never be merrier if there is no exchanging of gifts, and some fun games with prizes each participants can possibly won.I do not know to other countries if they too, practice the Christmas exchanging of gifts.May I know your exciting stories?Be my guest.......

I live in India. We don't have the custom of exchanging gifts during Christmas eve. But, we visit our relatives on Christmas day or nearby days with cakes. It is very common. My husband lives in USA and his culture has the formality of exchanging gifts during Christmas. So, we got gifts for my family this time. Usually, parents will get new dress for kids for Christmas.

Thank you for your response. It is a custom here in the Philippines that during Christmas a party is in celebration for the holiday, that it would not be perfect if
there is no exchanging of gifts. When the party is over, the whole family is going out for a walk, because some places would have a fireworks display for many spectators to observe. Then,we go home again to share some food to digest, and relax for a moment, and have a time for stories of yesterdays to pass the time.
