My children are very excited for their christmas celebration tomorrow at school. My baby is wearing blue jeans and white shirt for choir....and they are talking about the cakes and other refreshment they are going to enjoy tomorrow.....its good that children get to celebrate it twice...

My daughter had a special picnic at the playground down the road from the school and they held a talent show and great fun was had by all. When she was in kindergarten and in pre primary the parents and grandparents were included and a kids would put on a special show for us and give us special presents; it was such a delight! When the children got to year 1 onwards the parties became for them only which is a little sad for us parents!

yes, they do in my place. There was a Xmas party in my son's school last weekend. It was just then his holidays were to begin. They have had lots of fun. Every child has been given a gift pack by the Santaclause(of the school)..this gift pack included a snacks box, pencil box and a toy - these things are sure to bring a happiness for a child. And the school has did it right. They have had games and were treated with cake. Christmas brings joy to adults and sure it brings lots of fun and joy to the children.

Yes it happens almost every where.
On the day of Christmas we have holiday and even schools and colleges are closed.
Kids around me too have early Christmas party in their school.
They get to learn about how to behave in public and interact with their teachers and other parents and wish each other Merry Christmas!!
They also get good gift from their schools and they feel nice for being in school on such days.

Well don't know exactly as my baby is still small and don't go to school,
but I do remember when we were in school, we used to celebrate Christmas two days before Christmas and lots of things were happening in school during those days. As Christmas vacations starts from 24th so we all used to celebrate the Christmas before that only. Lots of preparation for plays, games funfair etc. We used to enjoy a lot and even on Christmas day we used to go to school to wish our teachers and enjoy cakes and sweets and gifts. Those were really golden days, I hope I will be enjoying the same thing with my child when he starts going to school.
