Contests on sites

Do you like to compete in the contests on sites? like the top offers for the month or the most ptc completed, most active referrals etc?
I have never really put effort towards any unless they were more on the level of earn 1.00 win 1.00 or something more easily reached
But for the past few weeks I have been trying and have even been within the top 5 on a few. Easy extra money. Do you like to compete in the contests?
