On First Seeing the Helicopter

There are reruns of Lost being shown on weekends in my area and they just showed the one where the people from the ship have parachuted from the helicopter and thought it had crashed. But the pilot said he was a better pilot than that and points to where he landed. The expressions on Jack's, Syid's and especially Kate's faces where marvelous when they were looking down into the meadow at the helicopter. They aren't quite smiling but have an expression that is hard to describe, maybe hope would come close.
