I love nature, i love breathing the fresh farm air and peaceful environment. But i prefer living in a city than living in a farm, i just wanted to have a rest house in a farm and visit there for a vacation and holidays. Living in a farm is nice and comfy but it is difficult reaching establishments which we need in our daily life like big stores where we can find our needs, hospital and school. How about you? would you prefer living in a farm that is far from a city?

Yes country living is very nice I grew up its pollution free, noise free & its just a perfect place to grow up with climbing at our own tree with friends sleeping under the moon at night becaue its safe to sleep outside

of course i'd love to live in a farm. i'm not much of a city type person even though i live in a relatively large city. i love the fresh air and the smell of freshly cut grass. it's so wide and peaceful and serene and tranquil. i wouldn't want to live too far from the city though just in case i need to revisit city life and all it's comforts.

yeah you have the point, it's just okay living in a farm as long as it's not too far in a city and it's accessible to other establishments like shopping departments, hospital and school.

I never really thought about it but it does sound like a wonderful experience away from cities. I've always wanted to live away from the city for a while, even if it's just for a few months. I like that peaceful environment too. All that quietness and being able to see the stars bright and shining in the nighttime sky without so many streetlights. I think it would be a really nice experience to live on a farm, even for just a month or two. I wouldn't know which one to choose though unless I got to really see what it'd be like to stay on a farm.

I never had experienced living in a farm too, but i do visit a lot of times in my inlaws farm, i could see the simplicity of people there, and they are just contented with what they have. But I could see how difficult it is for them to travel to downtown if it rained so hard that the road gets too muddy and we couldn't even walk with slippers and shoes, we had to walk with barefoot or else you'll get slipped and dunk on the muddy ground.

Farm life is what I have wanted. I want a peaceful and quiet surrounding. I don't like the city life. I hate the noise and smoke. I just want a house in the middle of a very big ranch and no neighbors.

That's nice, I could remember the twilight movie, edward is living in a forest with no neighbors, just tall trees, bushes and grasses.

I would very much enjoy living in the country side, outside the busy city centre, but not really in a farm. Yes, you are right. I agree with you. Living out in a farm, especially if it is far away from the main access roads, then it would be difficult getting the day to day necessities. Living in a country side near some main roads would be very pleasant, a very refeshing environment ! That would be more preferable than living in a noisy busy city centre.

That's what i like too, living in a countryside which is just accessible to roads that wouldn't get mud if it rained hard so you could just go out downtown and buy foods at easier way.

The clean air, the trees, the animals. Sure its all cozy, and no one is there to bother you, but I couldn't do it. Would be boring (for me), and if something happens you are really far from help.

hi redhotpogo, you are right, we couldn't ask for help if there are bad strangers tresspasing your home, that would be too difficult since no one could hear you.

I am a nature lover and currently living in a city. So I was thinking why not go to my uncle's farm back in a village? I went there stayed in a cottage. It was fun all the day, there was a railroad nearby and it just got better until night arrived. It was truly a nightmare. All kinds of insects, somehow from somewhere managed to ruin my sleep! I was frustrated, stressed out. They keep ringing in your ears, mosquitoes bite like hell! It was horrible. Nature is difficult!

yeah, mosquitoes are freely flying everywhere at night, so you must have to screened all the windows and doors.

Nowadays those who have pots of money and living in cities buy land outside and build farmhouses on it.Their farmhouses are not the typical cottages but grandiose villas and the land is used for growing orchards of fruits and vegetables. The produce is sold in the market which gives them a residual income or used by themselves. People have now become aware of living close to nature and such people visit their farms during weekends to relax from the stress of city life.such farmhouses are constructed at driving distances from the city so that the people can enjoy life at both places.city as well as farm. I would like to live on a farm but i know that in this life it will not be possible for me.

I like to live in a farm by vacation only but not lifetime or long term.

It is memorable experience living in such and will made you realize many things about God's creature, nature and a different way of life.

It relieves you from a stressful mind. There you can see and feel the other side of life.

For me, it is a learning experience to live in a farm. Enjoying all the natural benefits but In our present time, where highly competition for employment and life-style living is adapted.

Most adapted their life to go back to their provinces, to stay for a vacation and enjoy that time to be a simple, relaxed and a worry-free person.

It is one of my dreams to have a farm one day. I would love to have some horses, and chickens, and geese, and maybe some sheep, and a nice big garden. I grew up on a farm, so I have already lived and learned most of the chores to running a farm. From cleaning out the barn to moving bales of hay. It's hard work, but if you love it, it's worth it! It's amazing being able to live off your own livestock. I can't even tell you how much better free range, happy chickens taste then the kind you buy from the store. I even know how to work a tractor, so maybe someday I will have a farm. :)
