Dibetic test strips

I think it is a crime the drug companys and the government can get away with the prices they charge for the strips. Sure they will give you a tester for free..... But the strips are $50 and up for fifty strips.. Alot more for some brands of strips..... and they have a use by date...... so they have us by the short hairs every time we run out or the date expires. I have seen strips that do not expire ever or require a number to be checked against any other part of the testing... It is making someone real ritch!!! I can not afford to pay the price they are asking. Plus ..... Who is to say the number they are quoting as Pre- diabetic and Debetic are true ..... The number of people who are being diagnosed lately as diabetic, all need to test every day..... seven times a day at first.... always needing a new strip. Once when you wake up, once before breakfast, two hours after breakfast, before lunch, two hours after lunch . and then the same before and two hours after dinner.. That is 7 ... 7 days a week. Do you know how much the drug companies are making off of those of us who are just trying to get and stay healthy??? Maybe with the last election something will be done to bring the drug companies back to earth.. I hope something will. Pixell
