SOS!! When I import some video clips and drag them into the windows movie maker and then replay only a small part gets played although the indicator covers the full clip.If it is a 3 minute clip it finishes in just a few seconds. What could be the problem. This happens only with a few video clips.

The clip you are trying to view may be crupted in some way, or movie maker is lagging slightly. Sometimes movie maker takes a lot of resources so its best not to have to many windows open. When playing video clips, it reads it, and converts it into a media player type file. In this process the clip can slow down, or it would catch a glitch because unlike media player its designed to move along the timeline as it thinks you've added an effect or something when you haven't. Make sure your system is clean use the utility tools, it will help. If nothing else open movie maker after a fresh restart because the memory will be its clearest.

Thanks for your response. I just discovered that the video clip in question has been split as (1) and (2) in 'collections' which has not been done by me and so I dragged both these. I stil do not now why certain video clips are partitioned. Anyway I was able to play the clip after dragging both the parts.
