Any Suggestions for "Hunting Widows"?

My live-in boyfriend is a major hunter! It is his life! He's gone all day every saturday during hunting season and other days he takes off work to go. He always goes on trips, sometimes 2 weeks at a time! It's tough on me because I do not know alot of people around the area since I moved in with him. I have a now 10 month old baby so that also limits things I can do and places I can go. I was wondering if any other women had suggestions of things to do to keep busy and I mean fun things not cleaning all day while he's out having fun!! HA HA!

Bundle up that sweet little baby and go for a walk, either around town or just around your home. Fresh air and exercise are good, and you may just meet a few neighbours as well.
Also spend time here and you will meet many other young moms and other great people and they will have helpful tips for you as well. Depending on where you live, you might find groups or charities you could volunteer at,this is one of my favourite ways of meeting new people.
