is it worth double posting on Helium and AC?

I have a lot of articles on Helium. IF I post them to AC, for display only revenue, am I likely to make more money? I have heard that the search engines will divide traffic and I'll make less overall. To those of you who post on both, do you do well?

Hi Opalina, you forget one very important factor. Most of the traffic in writing sites do not come from search engines. The traffic can come from internal sources, such as writers making comments on the writings of each other. The traffic can come from social networking site, such as Twitter. When someone tweets the article on home loan, and the readers flock to that article, you will benefit if yours happen to be home loan article as well. Most readers will stay back to search for articles on similar topics, and read a few article on the same topic. I find that Helium and Ac attract very different readers. Those articles doing well in AC may not do well in Helium, and vice versa.

Since you are from the US I would submit to ac for upfront payments first and then, to Helium. Yes, you can supplement your income nicely by writing to both sites, even if it is putting the same article on each site.

Scheng, HI, I didn't mean to put my comment under yours like this. I don't know what the heck happened. Sorry. Have a great holiday.

I think that it would probably double your earnings. However if the articles are really good you might get a decent amount of money if you submit it just to associated content for upfront payment. If you dont then you will be missing out on this money. Remember that you can make up to twenty dollars upfront for you articles.

Yeah, why not? Try submitting for AC. It's cool and you will gain more in that sense. Both knowledge wise and earnings too. I have been with AC for quite some time now, and I'm loving it.

I post in eHow, Associated Content, and Bukisa for now. If the article is appropriate I will repost at all sites. For example, I first may submit a How-to article to AC and then once it's published (non-exclusive) I will submit to eHow. I make a decent income in both sites, but not too much with Bukisa.
