| |  Mine is a Nikon - this is my 3rd one.. I keep upgrading to the next coolest model.
I love them -the Coolpix are great. I have the touch screen model it is now a year old - so I am sure they have come out with something newer by now. :-) but I think I will always stick with the Nikons- they take very good pictures and are easy to use.

| |  The best ones are Canon,Nikon and Sony.If you are just a casual user and want to buy a nice camera you can opt from any of the three.But in case of Canon speaking in terms of capability,you can increase the features by using an unofficial firmware update called CHDK (Just Search google).It will enable professional features in your camera.You will also able to use the camera as a good e-book reader.I am a happy user of Canon-CHDK.
I suggest to buy something of the Canon SX-1__ IS series it may be 100,110,120 0r a costlier sx20is.

| |  I just bought my husband a Sony for Christmas. He likes it a lot. The camera we had before that was a Canon. But it did not shoot fast enough if you were taking a picture of a child or an animal it was hard to get a good picture of them because they would always move before the camara would click. The new Sony takes really nice crisp photos, and nice movies too.

| |  Mine is Nikon D90 and I like Nikon better than others becouse I think Nikon can make the images sharper. I like shotting scenery.

| |  My current digital camera is a Nikon CoolPix. I love it! I received it last Christmas (08) as a gift and it still works wonderfully. If you're looking for a non-professional camera that takes great pictures I'd definitely recommend a Nikon.
