ever since I was a child, my father always taught me that what I do in my life, is my decision (finally). And after each decisions are consequences, and you have to accept the responsibility yourself. If you make a bad decision, you will have to face the bad effects of it yourself, but if you make good ones, you are the one who will be enjoying it mostly too. And that's why we have to consider all things before making the decisions. Sometimes, I talk it over with some friends or more mature persons, and lay down the consequences up front too, to know whether I have the ability and am willing to take all the risks afterwards too. If I am forced to do something by others (family ?) then I would tell them beforehand, that they should feel obliged to help me too if everything turns bad later on.

yeah that's the problem if they tell you what to do and you made it bad you should not blame yourself alone blame them too.

i would make decisions on mine, but i often take advice with them.i find that i make decisions i often let my family know what i want, because i must respect them and i want to hear their suggection.i think that it is important for me to make decision.at the same time i have not much experience.so i hope that they take some advice which would be helpful for me.

I usually weigh my options first.I don't jump easily.I think about it first myself.later,I ask for opinions.I ask for opinions from family and friends.another person's perspective can help, since I might be missing on something.

There are four important things a person should possess to be able to go beyond problem-solving process well, namely: First, understanding of the real problems. Second, strategy solving. Third, have the ability and skills tested, and Fourth, identify obstacles for the obstacles that must be faced.

I'm not sure what you are saying. However, in regards to making a decision. In the end regardless how it starts the choice you make is your own. Growing up it seems like over all you don't get to decide for yourself, but in a way you do. It is all up to you in the end. Sure there are going to be some who regret decisions they made, but that's part of life. Personally I've done it. Some I don't care to share at the moment because I do find it depressing. So that's about it.

Yes, your right! It is very confusing. I have that problem now. I hate that kind of feeling wherein I have no choice to do it. It is not right to say I have no choice but it feels like that. Well, In the en you are still the one who will decide influenced by the people around you.

yeah that's the point it's hard to choose between two things that you like. just like this situation. your girlfriend and mother is drowning and you can only save one among them, who would you choose?
