What specific breed of dog would you like to have? Why? If only I have the money, I would love to own a Siberian Husky (or an Alaskan Malamute), a Saint Bernard, or an Old English Sheepdog. I love big dogs more than toy dogs. They're very beautiful. What about you? Share yours with me! :D

My dream dog is a bearded Collie,I really want one. They are like an Old English Sheepdog.I like Hearding Breeds,I like Shaggy breeds that are big and fluffy. The Bearded Collie is what I want. When most people here The word Collie They think of A Lassie like collie. But the bearded Collie looks alot diffrent from the regulare Collie, they look like an Old English Sheepdog. The have long hair, they are so cute.Hearding dogs are my all time favs they are so handsome and bold looking!I have a dog Hes a Lhasa Apso.Hes really nice and trained and obeys good.I want to movie somewhere I can get my dream dog a nice yard for it to run around in and all the needs for this breed. My Lhasa Apso is a good dog,and I want to get another dog for him to play with,I used to own an Old English sheepdog named Barney,he was really cute hard to handle, big and I loved him alot. But I couldnt handle him anymore and was going to movie where I couldnt have him so I gave him to soemone that had the time and love to give to him.I sure miss him and will always miss him.I really would love to have a bearded Collie they remind me of Old English Sheepdogs alot because they look and act like them.I like Briards to and Hearding dogs, pretty much all of them, they are so cute and fluffy.I like big dogs more than toy breeds, they are more nicer and family like.

My old english sheepdog was very stuborn about comming in from outside. He was always by the door and you know, old english sheepdogs love the outdoors, thats why I had to run him around outside,at the time we had a huge yard.Barney also freaked out when someone came to visit he was'nt good with strangers.Otherwise he was a great dog and very smart and cute, its such ashame I had to get ride of him,I get sad everytime I think of him.Bearded Collies Remind alot of Barney, your right the hair is longer though,Old English Sheepdogs are more fluffy.

Cute.. :D So Old English Sheepdogs are outdoor dogs. I want one. It's okay, at least you still have another dog. You can visit him occasionally. :D

I have always dreamed of having a golden Cocker Spaniel. However I couldn't have one because they moult and that would bother my allergies. I would love to have a silver Standard Poodle and perhaps one day I will. I love the two dogs I have got. They are Miniature Poodles and don't moult. Therefore they are perfect for my allergies. They are called Secret and Magic. I adore dogs and think each breed has its advantages. When Secret was a tiny puppy I got people to guess which breed and one person thought he was an Old English Sheep dog.

It's good that you still own dogs despite your allergy. If I were you, I would do just the same. :D I won't let any allergy to get in the way of me owning a pet. Golden cocker spaniels have beautiful coats. They're nice, too.

You have a Malamute?! Wow.. I'm envious. I love dogs that look like wolves. They're gorgeous. I often mistake a malamute for a Siberian husky, and vice versa. Yeah, a Great Pyrenese is big and beautiful, too. I have even adopted one on a virtual dog shelf through Facebook. Hope I could have a real one soon. Thank you for your response and continue loving your dogs!! :D

Ka'vik and TK - My Malamute mix Ka-Vik and My Collie mix TK.
Yes, My dog was a Malamute mix - he was mixed with Lab and was therefore mostly black. and looked very wolf like. (I have added a pic of him with my little Collie/shepherd mix) I too have virtually adopted many of these breeds on the save a dog facebook app. I wish I could take them all home. But with 4 large dogs now.. I am being eaten out of house and home already.. lol I think I will always have big dogs. but if I have to go "little", maybe due to old age or something- lol, I will love to get a Corgi or a Papillon

I've seen the pic, and they're amazing! I love their poses; I just wonder how you got them to do that. :D They're very furry and cute! As for the small ones, I would love to have a maltese. :D

we have a Saint Bernard. Actually we have always had saints. I grew up with them as my mom was a breeder. When I moved out on my own I had one and have had them all along. My husband was a little skeptical at first, but after living with his first one, he couldn't imagine not having one around either.

We only have one at the moment..but we are still living in a house crowded by a saint bernard..my girlfriend has a pony smaller than my dog. When he strethes out on the couch he takes up the whole coach. My brother is 6'2" and when dom stands on his back legs for a hug he is almost a head taller than my brother.

A pony smaller than your dog? Then your dog must be very big! :D Wow. That's pretty scary though, about your dog being taller than your six-footer brother when he stands up..
