Computer should now be called as an semi idiot box?

In earlier days we used to call TV an idiot box,but as of now most o today generation has moved to computers.But why computer has to be called as an idiot box,this is because it is also like Tv WASTING time,we use it as for our entertainment,chatting,so it should be also called as idiot box,but it is also useful as an important source of information,so it becomes semi idiot box

Aaaah, but calling the tv an 'idiot box' is not a description of the tv but of the user...The computer is the same! It can be used for studies, games, mindless endeavors, sharing opinons (as here), reference work and so on..I wouldn't blame the vehicle because of the driver..Tho, I'll willingly admit to having my own IDIOT moments...Enjoy!

Hey,
Technology has always two sides and its upto u how u want to use it. Same goes with computer and thus calling it semi idiot is not fair considering all he work is done computerized these days.

I do not think so.Only people who have less self-control addict to computer.And it's useful for us and make our lives convenient and interesting.It's a toy when we wanna to pass the time while it's a library when we search something.It's important for us and more and more intelligent.So why it's semi idiot box?
