When i just join mylot and i post a discussion i used to have over 20 responses in less than a hour. Now hen i post a response i have not even five responses in 3 hours. I know that ALL my discussion can't be so boring. So what do you think is going on?

I'm glad you brought that subject up. I've experienced the same thing. I suspected it may be because of a new way that mylot has for posting discussions. When I saw your discussion it verified the idea in my mind. When I first started posting discussions with this site last year I would receive a lot of replies to my subject. Now it seems as if the discussions "disappear" rather rapidly. I don't know if it has to do with a new type of paying code or process they have implemented. In fact I thought I saw a similiar question to yours posted as a new discussion.

At least now i am sure that there is nothing wrong with me. I am glad that you also saw it. I would really want to know what is the problem and the solution to it. By the way what do you mean by the new paying code? I have never anyone talking about any new pay code. hat is it all about?

Don't forget we just got over the Christmas holidays and people are still busy. Plus, lots of kids are home from school and people don't have as much time to fool around on the computer as much. I wouldn't worry about it and just keep posting interesting articles. Don't forget too, not everyone is interested in the same thing. Have fun and keep posting!

Maybe that is it. Maybe it is just because of Christmas. No one can never be sure though. Hopefully it will return to normal after a while.

I don't think its necessarily that there are less people on mylot but instead the opposite and its being caused my more people on mylot. More people on mylot = more discussions = less responses. And for me its caused for 2 reasons. First people can be more selective in what they are responding to. When I first join I would respond to anything because I just wanted to get my earnings up and there wasn't a ton always being posted. Now that there are more I can do 1-2 in each category and come back later and it'll be completely new. Also with more discussions your discussion will have less time on the top of the list and if anyone is like me they don't go to the second page in order to find a discussion to respond to.

I get what you are saying that the people are starting to select what to post to and not post freely at anything. But maybe you have not notice since day i see a lot of discussion being on the top for over an hour. When i just join mylot there was not a discussion on the top for more than 20 minutes. That is why i think something is definitely wrong.
