in this modern times, most of the girls start putting on make up in their adolescent age. during school programs, make up is also a must for participant.

Well, it is very much true. Girls can still cope without diamonds. Yet, tell them to take a day off from make-up(and it is true for wives also) and they give you such replies that you do not suggest them to go without make-up again.
I think they have a certain "feel-good" about make-up, something which many males have from shaving their beard.

you have studied well regarding the cosmetics the another discussion was also some more interest,but i cannot comment on them,because i does not know any thing about that and this discussion,it is common the cosmetics have chemicals,everthing we are using equipped with chemicals,have a nice day

dear yugasini, i know that chemicals have effects on the skin hence i am not using it a lot. some get allergies to it, while some would not like to go out without wearing it. but for women, it is a must to have an eyebrow, a face powder, and a lipstick in her bag all the time. thank you for responding. ann

OMG 515 chemicals , too bad Anny sweety... let me tell you i don't put up any make up, after bath i apply talcum powder only, that too from Ramdev Baba's of india, all products from there are 'chemical free' and non-toxic.... we use soap, shampoo too manufactured by them... my wife is not fond of 'much' makeup...

dear arun, it is good you use products that are not chemical based. its true that chemicals sometimes irritates the skin hence i dont use much of it either. thank you for responding. ann

I am confused by the whole need for women to use make up. I do not understand why women succumb to the pressure put on them by the media that make up is a must. I know women who will not let anyone see them without make up and that is just crazy!

The cosmetic industry is a very powerful industry and is one of the most harmful on this planet. thumbdown

I prefer women to let their natural beauty shine through without wasting all that time poisoning themselves with chemicals. Ladies, stop using it, you already look great and do not need it! happy

hi ann, thanks for sharing this wonderful information, i was not aware of this, it is really sad, businessman can do any thing for sake of money though
my wife does not wear ant make up, just little talcum poweder, do you have any such information on talc

dear professor,
girl uses make up to bring out or enhance some beautiful features on her face. the purpose is for it to look more attractive. thumbup
but many do not use because of some side effects that usually comes with the make up. so when buying, one has to be smart to know which brand they get allergic reaction to and they should avoid and use instead a better brand.
but i will agree if you say, the simpler, the better, the more natural beauty is seen. rolleyes
