Well 2009 has been one heck of a year. It has been one of the saddest and more eventful. I will list a few below in chronological order.

Oh...man, I think that's good information that you provide and make an effort to actually searching for. Too many to remember especially in this period, anyway Happy New Year to you. Are you going to celebrate?

I only searched for the links. These are the events that I remember the most when I think of 2009. Of course there were many other things but I just can't remember them all. What's your most memorable? Michael Jackson's death? North Korea's long-range missile? Or the more recent bombing attempt? I don't really "celebrate" New Year's but Happy New Year to you also!

I don't really "celebrate" New Years. Sure, we acknowledge it but we don't do anything special to "celebrate" it.

2009 has been an eventful year when you look at some of the major events you have listed. The most memorable for me was the Black Saturday bush fires on February 09 in Victoria Australia where my brother in law nearly lost his life and his home, sadly almost 200 people died and over 400 were injured! Heath Ledger’s death and Michael Jackson’s demise are very prominent also. Heath was a Perth boy and went to school not far from where I live; his death had a profound effect; we were so proud of him being one of our own…I grew up listening to M.J. and his brother…What a terrible shame and loss of a great talent...
