First I must greet everyone a happy 2010. May we all achieve the peace we want and the good health we need. May our financial needs also be enough for our wants. And second
Yehey! The people made less smoke pollution this year. The fireworks started around 11:30 pm in our place. And it ended just after 12 o'clock. I am so glad the people are finally recognizing we need to avoid dirtying our earth.

hello eileen!
happy new year to you too!
here in our place, there's also lesser fireworks now...i think its due to some financial crisis? hehe so instead of spending their money on fireworks, they just use it to buy foods... and another reason here is that, its been raining since afternoon till now! haha
wish you all the best for this new year 2010! God bless!

Hi Eileen,
Happy New Year too friend.
You are right, there was less fireworks this year. This resulted to less firework-related accidents and incidents all over the metro and the philippines as a whole. thanks god--people were empowered. another thing due to financial crisis people chose to buy food instead of fireworks.

Yes, there was less fireworks in the last new year's eve, but i hope there will be lesser fireworks next year. I was telling my nieces and nephews last new year's eve that to avoid so much pollution we should go back to the traditional practices. I told them that back then, we use empty cans and drums in making noise and we also use bamboo bazookas. We can also turn on our radios loud and car horns can be blown during new years eve. These are safer noisemakers during new year's eve.
