My new year starts with happy and sad memories.
Happy and thankful becoz my family were safe and in good health.

Sad,becoz,there were people(friends) that i love,lost their loved ones on this season.(anyway,it's not a new thing,people die unexpectedly everyday,it just happen that,losing someone we love on this season(new year,everybody's excited)caused much more pain)

Whatever your idea of surprises and touch of new year is up to you my friend.

Life is a cocktail of sorrow and happiness. And we have pass through it. People think the new years day is a happy moment. It is not bad. Really hopes are very important to overcome the adversity of life. It's like a relaxation. But it is best if the hope, desire and the determination carries thought the year. Generally people forget all the promises after the celebration is over.

Happy New Year too my dear friend...and so with your family.

I also celebrated the new year with my kids,just me and my kids.
Talking and laughing...we talk about the past events of the last year 2009.
I prepare some foods for us,not to plenty this time,only my kids favorite foods.
Then,around 2am we've been to my closest internet friend's house,just a 5 mins drive away from home(well,5 minds becoz,there's no traffic)
And,this is my first time to travel just hours after new year,(you know very well the risks of firecrackers).
And,it's fun to drive without the traffic too.
We stayed there for 3 hours,having so much fun too,and then gone home by 5am.

Good thing it doesn't rain in here my dear.

And it's sad to know that it is raining in your place,then,you missed the fun with your neighbors and also the fireworks display.

Here in my place,...the same fun...waiting with the countdown and then,the firecrackers begin...so much noise,colorful fireworks and also smoke...but's it's fine,the joys cannot be measured.
