Anyone ever click on url's in the tweets of those you follow on twitter? | | | | I don't pay much attention to the tweets tweeted by those I follow on twitter, let alone click on the url's that are included in their tweets. Is that not propper "twitter etiquette?" I don't deliberately ignore the tweets of my fellow twitters, it just seems like a lot of spam to me. When and if I tweet anything, it's usually just a status update of some kind. Very rarely do I send out tweets with links in them, but every now and then I may get a tweet specifically targeted at me with my @twitterusername on it, and since twitter cloakes the url to into a tinyurl or bitlyurl you don't really know what kind of site it is other than what the tweeters description is, which is usually masked itself in order to get you to click on it. Is it just me, or has twitter seemed to turn into a spam fest? | | | | | | | | | | Social Referral Guide Drive Measurable Social Marketing Results in 2012. Download now. www.extole.com

| | Thank you for your response notlistening2. I agree with you, when I go on twitter, I am in and I am out. What else is there to do on that site but to send out tweets? I don't get all the hype over that site, I try to, but I just don't know what it's all about really. It doesn't seem to be very personable, I mean really, can you really take the time out to respond to each individual follower when you literally have like 50,000 people following you? (I don't have that many, only a few hundred, but I see others with that many, even more) I don't think it's a very personable site where you can really get to know people on an individual basis. I just wondered if there are in fact twitter users that do interact with their followers on a personal level or is it pretty much just people pitching a marketing strategy along with a million others? If there are other things to do on twitter besides tweet and re-tweet links, I'd be interested in knowing what those things are. I appreciate your comments and insight. | | | | | | | Social Referral Guide Drive Measurable Social Marketing Results in 2012. Download now. www.extole.com | add comment | | | |

| | I some what do the same as you. I occassionally post a link to my blog through my twitter but it will say this is my blog. I do click on links from others but most of the people I follow are organizations I like, churches, artists or friends. Anyone I don't know may have their status read but that is about it. I've never had a tweet directed at me so I can't so much there. | | | | | | | | | | Buy Twitter Followers Get 2000 real followers for just 35$.Call now 1-866-3529792 www.getfasttwitterfollowers.com | add comment | | | |

| | Its not just you. It seems like people have found twitter to be a great way to advertise and make money. I've even seen it on TV where you can make money with twitter, so of course, anyone who wants to make money online will indeed jump on the bandwagon. Facebook also has turned into hunting ground for people looking to get referrals. I actually set up a second account to separate my real friends from life and my friends from cyberworld. Some are actually on both profiles because they don't fill the newsfeed with ad links, but the ones who are looking to build up their referrals are on my "business" page. Its a matter of separating business from pleasure. What makes me laugh, on twitter, it seems like most people aren't really interested in what you have to say or sell, they just want you to click on their link. Of course, that is just my opinion. Not everyone there is like that. | | | | | | | | | | pay per click Explode Sales with Pay Per Click Marketing. $0 Set Up. No Contracts! www.PPCE.net/PPC-Management | add comment | | | |
