Is there a great need for American Sign Language Interpreters in the schools???  email this discussion to a friend?

I live in a rural part of Oklahoma and would really like to go back to school to get my B.S. degree in ASL Interpreting and work in the public schools with the kids. What I'm wandering is if there is a demand for this in the smaller towns, or is this only something you can find in larger cities such as Tulsa, OK or Oklahoma City? Any information on this will be greatly appreciated.
