for ellen degeneres is one of the judges. i think this will be a lot of fun. my wife is a fan on ellen and watching her show is very entertaining. so i want to see how entertaining she will be on the American Idol show. Is she will be a serious judge? is she and simon will go along perfectly or they will start a feud? this are things that are much awaited. are you watching this years season? are you also excited to see what is ellen up with?

Wow, time flies really fast. Just two years ago I was screaming for David Cook, and now another season is coming up.
I am excited about Ellen. :) I often watch her show because she's really funny, friendly, and nice. I wonder how she's gonna judge the contestants, but I'm sure it's gonna be a lot of fun. I hope it doesn't gt lame like Season 8. (Season 7 is the best! Woohooh!)

i agree with you that season 7 is the best. the winner was one of the best artist i heard... david cook. season 8 started as fun to watch plus a new judge to watch as well. but it ended up very boring. the great contestants that we expect to be there up to the end was voted out. quite a shock of course. but now this season is a much awaited season. thanks a lot for the response

I really liked Matt Giraud because he's got a really smooth voice. I was really disappointed when he was voted out 'coz I thought he would make it to the Top 3. Adam's voice is very powerful but oftentimes it just got overboard that he seemed to be always screaming. Kris Allen...hmmm...he's just fine...He's great as an acoustic singer, but I doubt if he could do stronger, higher notes...David Cook is just SOOOO versatile...He can do ballad, he can do pop, he can even do broadway, country, and of course, rock...and he is HOT...LOL..
I'm really expecting a lot from this coming season.. =D

I'm not sure and will hold judgement on this years American Idol until they get through all the crap, and get to the top 16. The last two years I have either not been impressed with the contestants, or the one I was voting for was voted off the show too soon. But, I have watched all or part of every season, so well see. Not sure how Ellen will work as a full time host, but it should be interesting.

interesting is the right word for that. ellen will not be joining the judges on tour for every city, thats what i heard her saying on her show. she will only be present when the voting part starts. so the three judges will be doing all the auditions and the crappy part. but i guess i enjoy the crappy part too minus the contestants who acts like tatiana... over acting har har har. thanks a lot for the response

I am excited for the new season - I dont know about Ellen. I dont watch much TV - CSI FlashForward and AI are pretty much the only things I watch. I hope that we get a lot of good talent like we did last year. I am so happy that Kris won as he was my favorite since about week 5.

i am a CSI fan too, hi there. well my wife watches a lot of tv shows for she is a stay at home mom. she can watch a few when our son is busy playing or while she is doing chores around the house. so if i am awake or if i am home i watch also the shows she watch. cant put it on a different channel for i know she will give me the face har har har. i am happy too when kris won, adam looks like a star already he does not need to win for he can be popular already. thanks a lot for the response

Yes! I'm going to watch the new season and I'm very excited about it!!!
I'm a fan of AI and I really watch every episode. I really like Ellen too and I think she is a funny person and a great host. As a judge, I believe in her and her judgments, I think this new season will be great. Maybe Simon and Ellen will clash in some point because we all know how strict and weird Simon is.. (sometimes) lolz..

you sound like my wife, she is a fan of american idol ( she is a professional singer but now a fulltime stay at home mom) and she is a fan of ellen degeneres too. so seeing american idol with ellen on it would be fun to watch. that would be hilarious plus i am waiting if simon will be annoyed with her remarks or just raise shoulders. har har har. thanks a lot for the response

I watch American Idol every season, however, not regularly. But I'm looking forward to seeing Ellen on the show, too. She may be a totally different character from Paula but I'm sure she would be the missing ingredient that the previous seasons lacked.

i saw ellen degeneres show and she too is excited. i guess simon is not excited for i saw at the news that this season is his last season on american idol. maybe he is not agreeable with ellen taking paula's place. har har har just my opinion thanks a lot for the response

I'm very excited to see Ellen on the show. She is hilarious and will probably boost television ratings of an already popular show through the roof. She is a great replacement for Paula Abdul who I heard was trying to hold out for more money before she was replaced.

i agree with you saying that she is a great replacement for paula abdul. she is funny and will add and draw attention more on american idol. paula is funny too but she does not know that she is funny har har har. just my opinion. i bet this will be the best season ever. thanks a lot for the response
