Is God Real?

I know that in the Bible and such it says that God made the Earth. But, others say that there is a scientific reason behind the Earth's happening. God may be real, or he may not be. Who says it is a he? It might be a she or it might be a combination of all things living. All I am asking is, is there an actual record saying God has been seen or heard of in real, living time?
